Where Do We Ship?

At this time we only ship to the 48 contiguous states of the USA.  We plan on offering extended shipping in the near future.

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that your item is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will reach out to you via e-mail with an estimated availability time for the product.  These are only approximate dates and are subject to change at any time. This is due to the fact that many products come from overseas.  At that time you may decide to cancel your order or continue with your purchase, and wait for the item to be back in stock and shipped.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5-10 business days) we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

The estimated shipping/delivery times for each item are located on the product’s page.  Bear in mind these are estimated times only, and can vary depending on the availability of the product and manufacturer’s availability.  We will notify you via email within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out.

We will do everything we can to keep you informed as to when your order may arrive, but please bear in mind that sometimes an estimate is all we may be able to provide until the order actually ships.

Standard Shipping:

Non-freight items will be shipped via standard shipping methods such as USPS or UPS.

Freight Shipping:

Most large items, such as furniture, are shipped via freight on a truck. Freight deliveries generally occur Monday – Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.  The freight company will contact you a few days prior to delivery to schedule a convenient time for the delivery to occur.  Please be sure someone will be there to sign for the item at delivery time.  If you miss your scheduled time, additional fees will be incurred.

Freight delivery to residential areas or any area without a receiving dock, are curbside delivery only.  Some items may be eligible for ‘threshold’ delivery for an added fee.  This means the item can be brought inside the first dry area of your home, i.e. a garage, carport, or entry way.  If delivering to an apartment the carrier will deliver inside the first floor of the complex.  Contact service@cozyandworn.com to see if your item is available for ‘threshold’ delivery.  ‘White glove’ delivery is not available at this time.

We cannot ship freight items to APO/FPO addresses.  Deliveries to inaccessible areas or special delivery situations may incur additional fees at the customers expense, OR may be undeliverable.  It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us of any special delivery situations at the time of purchase.

We are not responsible for miscommunication between freight carrier and consignee (recipient).

Measure for Your New Furniture

We cannot stress how important it is to measure very carefully when ordering furniture items.  Please measure not only for the space in the room your new furniture will go in, but also measure any hallways, doors, stairways, banisters, or corners through which  it must go.  Also consider any fixtures in the home or obstacles outside your home that may impede the delivery of the item.

All of our large items will have dimensions listed, but if you are unclear or cannot find the dimensions of a certain item please contact us first and we will get the information for you if available.

This is a crucial step in the buying process and should be considered carefully.  You do not want to have the excitement of that new and perfect piece of furniture for your home arriving ruined by discovering too late it will not fit or cannot be delivered into the proper room.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage to the item or packaging you should make note of it before signing for delivery.  Products must be inspected and damages noted prior to signing the delivery receipt

Any shipment that is signed with no damage on the box/furniture/accessory will be denied as a claim.  Please notify us immediately if you suspect damage to the shipment.

You have 2 DAYS to report damages to us by emailing service@cozyandworn.com.

If you see damages, NOTE IT TO THE DRIVER/DELIVERY PERSON. DO NOT SIGN FOR A BOX WITHOUT NOTING DAMAGES.

Save all ORIGINAL packaging. Freight damage must be held up to 90 days per carrier or until claim is resolved.
